Garage Door Opener Repair
Customer Issue: Mr. Savage’s remote control would operate the door only half of the time although it had a fresh set of batteries installed.
Our Solution: We listened to Mr. Savage’s description of the problem, then gave the door a trial run and started eliminating the usual culprits from the list. We found no sources of RF interference and reprogramming the opener didn’t do much either. But then we had a look at the circuit board and found the cause of our problem! As soon as we installed a replacement circuit board, the door became 100% responsive.
Garage Door Off Track
Customer Issue: This customer backed up into a closed garage door and it went off track.
Our Solution: The impact bent one of the tracks, so we started by knocking it back into its original shape. We made sure both tracks were properly aligned and tightened them down. We reinstalled the rollers that popped out of the tracks. Once we put everything back, we tested the door and made some fine adjustments to the system.
Panel Replacement
Customer Issue: Paint had started to fall off from the bottom section of Mrs. Wyatt's garage door that was also riddled with scrapes and dents.
Our Solution: Since the damage was contained to one section of the garage door, we suggested panel replacement. We also noticed that the tracks needed some straightening, so we knocked them back into shape. Once we installed a matching section and adjusted spring tension, the door looked and functioned as if it were brand-new again.
